Triple Filter Test (Inspiring Story)




One day an acquaintance came to meet Chanakya and said to him excitedly ," do you know what I just heard about your friend ?"

" Just wait a while", Chanakya replied." Before you tell me anything I would like you to go through a little test which I call the triple filter test".

" What’s that?" asked the acquaintance.

" I will tell you", Chanakya said." Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you are going to say. That is why I call it the Triple filter test. The first filter is ‘Truth.’ Are you sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"

"No", the man said." Actually, I just heard about it."

"All right", said Chanakya." So you don’t really know if it is true or not. Now lets us try the second Filter, the filter of ‘Goodness’. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"

"No, on the contrary.."

"So", Chanakya continued," You wanted to tell me something bad about him but you are not certain it is true. You may still pass the test because there is one filter left; the filter of ‘Usefulness’. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"

"No, not really..."

"Well", Continued Chanakya," If you want to tell me what may not be true and is neither good nor useful, why tell it to me at all?"

MORAL OF THE STORY: He who repeats the ill he hears of another is the true slanderer

Being possessive is good or bad???

We saw kids playing with their dolls , they won't like others touching their dolls or playing things even their parents, is this possessiveness? even the grown have the same feeling, especially in the teens who s having girl/boy friend!!! Between the couples too?

Possessiveness kills relationship! I realized this later when i was into the same trouble. I was possessive to the extreme with almost all my (i ve very few, this might be the reason ?) relations. I feel like being in the hell when i saw my friend was getting closer with someone, until i realized my blunder. Its all because of the stupid insecurity within me.
Now i got that, possessiveness may come out of love, but it can't express your valuable love, rather it makes them uncomfortable and merely it restricts their freedom too:( . Above all Love doesn't mean being possessive, but understanding his/her circle and enjoy the purity of love and togetherness. Noone can't find identical two's in every aspects. I found everyone are unique in this world and started accepting people as they are.
It s only the possessiveness that stopped from receiving their love for me, thank god im now free from all my confusions and stress. I feel relaxed and secure within me :)

1.Identify why you are feeling possessive
2.Let go of your fear and insecurity
3.Be true to yourself and love yourself
4.Release your desire to hang on
5.Remember that these are just feelings
6.Re-affirm your love

There is a Space within me??

There is a Space within me,
Where I just be
There nothing exists, no form, no thought
Nothing,no memory, no should or ought
I simply am in that secret space
Aware of it, it expands, moves at a slow pace
Bringing peace and no-mind gradually fades

than honey-sweet movement pervades!
Changing, the world sparkles in transparency,
vibrating with a clear blue luminosity.
My so called self – swims in a sea of blue
Tranguil, fullfilled in many a hue.
In that Space nothing is done,
As there is nobody to do.

Leaving that inner, secret Space,
I return to the old worldly place.
Here all appears so solid to my gaze!
Has weight, form, attributes- is covered by haze;
It’s the world „you and I“ know,
To its arguments and limitations we bow
It has everchanging values and emotions,
Endless explanations and other notions.
A world of exploitation and conformity
And misunderstandings of enormity.
It ‘s a world of superficial entertainers,
Of car tax and plastic containers.
Where I decide, plan and execute;--
I am not allowed to be mute.
Yet I know, there‘s no-“body“ to do ...?
Who than, does what? How to get through?

Nature and Beauty lull our senses,
Begging to go beyond fences.
Soar with the eagle, rise above sky
Escape your senses, learn to fly.
Let‘s not exclude one or the other,
Know both worlds as woven together
No need to pretend one doesn‘t exists
No need to travel – where tiredness persists
If actions seem pointless; - if agony rules
What‘s there to do? Are we mer‘ fooles!
He does the work through the space inside me!
Wake up – realise how to be
The secret space harbours His reality.
